Private lessons may range from puppy training to levels of obedience
or behaviour modification - Your Dog, Your Way!
Initial private lesson
This lesson is conducted with you, your dog and the trainer. Family members can be included where possible.
Our trainer will provide you with an enrolment sheet to fill in and he will photograph your dog for our files.
You can discuss your training requirements and what you hope to achieve with your private lessons. Remember to talk through any behavioural issues you may be experiencing.
Our trainer will explain the different methods of dog training and what your options are, training techniques and explanations of these. The trainer will establish a plan for your dog and perhaps provide some homework for you!
Cost is $95 for approximately one and a half hours.
Follow on private lessons
This is conducted with you, your dog and the trainer. Family members can be included where possible.
Expect to repeat and continue with the training exercises - short bursts and rest periods. Our trainer will ensure you are performing the training exercise correctly and go over any questions or problems that may have arisen. Your lesson plan will continue to develop as the training progresses.
Cost is $95 for approximately one hour.

Split the Bill - Cost Option
At Urban Wolf, we are annoyed when websites do NOT list their prices. We all need to know how much a service is going to set us back.
No matter what you ask of us, the cost is the same. Urban Wolf charges for our time, not our expertise - it will cost no more to talk with us than it will to be taught by us. We always provide our full professional help for all dogs, all ages and all problems.
Private Training Costs
Get together with group of friends, (maximum of five), and you can split the cost. We still charge our per lesson rate but YOU pay per person. So, five people for the hour's training means less than $20 each! We think that's a great way for you to save money and a fantastic social outing for your dogs! Lattes are optional!
